Cooler; Storms Tomorrow
Today is cooler and drier but we can't rule out a shower or two this afternoon. Temperatures come right back up again tomorrow for a warm summer day, complete with widely scattered showers and storms. We will likely eke out a dry day on Tuesday before more showers are expected to develop Wednesday evening. Seasonably cool temperatures return Wednesday and stick around until next weekend.
We Have Winners!
123 photographers submitted over 700 photos in the contest. Then almost 30,000 votes were cast in voting for the best photo. The overall quality of photos was amazing--we could have produced 5 beautiful calendars from these submissions! Click here to see all the winning photos.
Additional photos will be selected as "Best of the Rest" photos during the next couple weeks as we do the design work on for next year's calendar.
Congratulations and thanks to all the winners!

Behind the frontal passage, today is cooler than yesterday. We can't rule out a shower today but most areas will stay dry.
Warm weather returns tomorrow. An upper level shortwave will help spark showers and storms in the afternoon, a few could be severe. On Tuesday, a cold front moves through the Foothills. Any showers should remain to our south. Winds will be on the breezy side.
Cooler air moves in Wednesday and an upper level disturbance helps sparks showers in the evening. Occasional rain continues though Thursday morning. After this passes, skies clear and we should be into some dry and warmer weather to finish out the week.
