A cold front progressing eastward from the Tennessee Valley passes through here this evening.
Cooler and drier air will arrive tonight, and will be with us through most of Monday.
Today’s front returns northward as a warm front Monday night, with a periodic rain returning into Tuesday. Then, another cold front will push through Wednesday night early Thursday, coming to rest over the interior Southeastern U.S. for the remainder of the period.
That will result in a few hard-to-time rainy periods during this period, although we believe the focus for heavier rainfall will remain to our west over the Tennessee Valley.
Temperatures will be quite mild by midweek onward.
